I made some tools to help me and other packmakers with their optifine skies
Here are the tools i made (no files are being sent to the server all computations happen only in your browser)

sky.zip use this pack as a base for animated skies (dont forget to change the width and height in hummus228.properties
line remove tool removes that ugly line that you see after converting a regular image to an optifine sky (works for animated skies to)
zip to a staked aray of frames tool (beta) i made this tool because my skybox tool acsepts animations as a staked aray of frames
